Time to Strike 0.2 is OUT!
In this update I focused on reworking how player gains items, making game less confusing and more juicy.
CHANGES:
------------------------------------------------------------------
DASH:
-Player can now dash by pressing space button!
RUN PROGRESSION:
-Player now must beat 20 areas (previously 10) to win
-Each area now has less enemy waves
Dev Note: run time almost didn't change
MODS:
-Each ability now can have 2 mods (previously 3)
-Mods are a bit stronger
Dev Note: these changes make mods more exciting
RELICS:
-Relics are now stackable
-Player can obtain multiple copies of the same relic in the same run
REWARD SYSTEM:
-Player now gains only 1 reward after combat
-Item upgrading was removed entirely
Dev Note: upgrading system was confusing and not as exciting as gaining new ability or relic, so I decided to remove it.
BOSSES:
-Player now gains 3 copies of the relic of their choosing after defeating boss
OTHER:
-Visuals were improved
-Color pallete was slightly changed
-Added small tutorial at the start of run
-Added few new sound effects
-Item balancing
-Fixed few minor bugs
