I think the game engine I am using supports Linux but I don't have any way to test the build out. I might try uploading Linux version later on with disclaimer that it may not work.

Also, getting hit didn't feel very noticeable. I glanced at my health at one point and half of it was gone, and I had no idea when that happened.
Maybe my peripheral vision just sucks, but maybe It'd be nice to have little pips with this information near the character!
yeah, I've been challenging myself to see how far I could get with just the baseball bat and I keep running into bullets without deflecting them cuz I'm out of stamina. I was thinking the bat could appear and be orange when you can't swing or something.
Thanks for the feedback! I will definetly look into how to visualize ammo and stamina so it would be easier to track it during combat. And I agree, getting hit animation should be more noticible.
Sometimes after the level ends, you can't select upgrades. You can click them as many times as you want, but nothing happens.
Sometimes when the level begins, it starts in slow-mo mode, and it carries on for quite a while, longer than you usually get when hitting an enemy with a bat.
Also when you go for an explosion-based build, it becomes hard to discern what the enemies are doing cause everything gets covered with explosions.
Other than that fun game, keep it up, looking forward to more content.

I got such an OP combo were when I get a zombie to spawn when it dies it drops 24 critters and when enemys die they spawn a zombies so I beat the boss in 3 seconds parasite is funni
you should try an explosion build, explosive auto shooting bullets, combined with upped explosion damage, and explosion during and after block. Combine this with 250% chance to create a new explosion after a explosion and i killed the final boss before its first attack. (if you want, you can make a semi explosion and summon build, it is so fucking fun
Dude, my first run i got 2 zombie summoners on a weapon that attacked ever 0.20 seconds and also when a minnion dies it summons a critter, THEN a 25% chance for a critter when spawning to spawn another explosive critter, so i had a zombie critter explosive giant army. Fun Game
Weird. That shouldn't be possible. Maybe you haven't noticed that there is armor bar below health bar. Armor acts as health and when you take damage, you lose armor first. Shield thing gives you 1 point of armor. Let me know if that helped.
Can confirm the invincibility issue. Not sure if it was caused by a shield, but I noticed my invincibility while fighting the boss on 1-10 and it persisted onwards past then. Not sure when exactly the bug started on the run. Bullets still played their particle effect and disappeared after hitting the character, but no damage was dealt.
I played with a critter "deck" favoring all skills that summoned critters or benefit them, and I loved the vulture skill, being able to eat the dead corpses is really fantastic!
The animations are way too smooth! It feels great to smash through all the enemies, especially with the bat which is new to me. But it might be a little too easy? Anyways would love to see more!
I do feel the upgrade / relic / ability system can be improved. Sometimes there is "..." instead of a description. Sometimes I have to click on the level dots above the icon, sometimes on the icon itself and now I am on the "Choose mod" screen and I can't click anything except "Upgrade instead". The three icons all don't work
Came from Retromation's video. The game has really good visual and audio feedbacks, it feels good when enemies are defeated. The synergies are fun. There is enough variety to the enemies, I can form a clear strategy on what to do for each encounter based on the enemy design. The progression is quite fast when compared to other similar games in this genre, and i think it feels good.
I cant seem to get the downloadble version to work, opening it shows nothing even after waiting 10 mins, and there seems to be a shortcut that is trying to open the game from your desktop i think

The game juice tastes good,
but it is difficult to distinguish bullets hitting me.
Upgrades feel fresh and each have their character.
Controls is a bit much but juggling weapon rotations is fun.

I broke the game by having 0 ammo. Then you keep clicking on the star to get more, so I got 100 of them doing 40000% more damage.

Sorry then, I don't really know how to fix it. It might be a problem with screen resolution but I am not sure.
